India’s EB-2 and unreserved EB-5 green card categories reopened in the October 2026 Visa Bulletin. EB-2 India now has a Final Action DatesThe Visa Bulletin chart showing the priority dates for which a visa number can actually be issued or a green card approved in that month.See it in the glossary of November 1, 2013, and unreserved EB-5 India has one of December 1, 2023. Both were listed as unavailable in September.
EB-1 India also advanced on the final action chart, from October 15, 2022 to February 1, 2023. The September bulletin had warned that high demand from India could make EB-1 unavailable before the fiscal year ended. EB-3 India held at January 1, 2014.

What “reopened” means on the chart
When a category is listed as unavailable, numbers are not authorized for issuance to anyone in it. A date replaces that listing once numbers can be reached again, and they are authorized only for applicants whose Priority dateThe date a petition was filed, or a labor certification was submitted, used to determine an applicant's place in line for a visa category with limited annual numbers.See it in the glossary is earlier than the date shown.

That leaves the filing date more than 14 months past the new final action date. In unreserved EB-5, the filing date of May 1, 2024 is five months past the final action date.
Family dates for India
India’s family-sponsored dates match the all-other-areas column except in F4, where the final action date advanced about six weeks, from November 1, 2006 to December 15, 2006. The F4 filing date moved from December 15, 2006 to February 1, 2007.
